Shirt info - Each registered runner will receive one shirt during the Series.  Shirts are a short-sleeved technical/moisture wicking shirt with the FLWTS logo design print.

Course Description  Course Map
This is a great course if you are just venturing into trail racing because it is probably the flattest trail run you'll find and not very technical.  Although the trail is considered a single-track, it is wide enough on most of the course for passing.
Both short and long courses are on scenic, fun single-track trails that parallel the south side of Lake Natoma along the full length of the course.  The 4 mile course turns around at Willow Creek Recreation Area.  The 10 mile course will continue on toward Folsom where it loops around behind Lake Natoma Inn, near Rainbow Bridge.  This is a fairly flat and fast out and back course.

Entrance to Nimbus Flat State Park is located off Hazel Avenue, just North of Hwy 50.  Free alternate parking - Sacramento State Aquatic Center or the Hazel Fish Hatchery.  The current construction on Hazel Avenue will not obstruct entering and leaving the park.

If you park in the Nimbus Flat State Park, there is a $10 park entrance fee per vehicle charge or you may purchase an annual California State Parks Poppy Pass park for $90 (a real bargain).

Many trails are located within the California State Parks. If you do not have one, I highly recommend purchasing a Poppy Pass for $90/year (from date of purchase). California State Parks Pass info This pass is valid at 97 parks in the State of California where an entry fee is collected.  You can usually purchase your park pass at most park pay stations, most any state park office, including the Gold Fields District Office, 7806 Folsom-Auburn Rd, Folsom and the Auburn Recreation Area office on Hwy 49 about 1/2 mile into the canyon from Auburn.
