The 2015 Folsom Prison Trail Run Series is the most fun you'll have on a Thursday night! The FPTR Series is an 8-week, points-based series designed to encourage friendly competition and the enjoyment of trail running, racing and walking. The course distance is 5k. Enjoy the friendly, grass roots atmosphere and the fun, well-groomed, tree lined dirt trails on the California State Folsom Prison property, where the only opportunity you can run them is in an organized race such as this. The course has lots of single track, fire breaks, abandon flume, three creek crossings over bridges, and some moderately technical single track...all through very beautiful oak woodlands. There is approximately 275 feet of climbing.
Are you ready to get dirty and have a rockin’ good time this Thursday?
If you haven’t signed up yet, online registration is open until Wednesday at 5pm.
Race Day Schedule and Details
5:30pm to 6:15pm – Late Registration

Since this is a 5k, we will NOT have an aid station on course, but we will have water at the start/finish. It is, however, recommended to carry a water bottle with you, especially when it's hot.
Hang out after the race, share race stories and enjoy the camaraderie and refreshing fruit.
We will have FPTRS tech shirts on sale for $20.
