This series is for everyone...so, whether you are new to trail running or the experienced ultra runner looking for a great training run, come out and have fun running on the beautiful and challenging trails surrounding Beal's Point at Folsom Lake.

ABOUT THE COURSE
Both short and long courses are on fun single-track, hiking trails and fire roads. 

The course distances are approximately 3 miles and 6 miles.  Both courses will vary a bit from the Spring series...adding a climb up to the water tank on the 6 mi loop.   The reward...an amazing view of Folsom Lake!! 

Walkers may participate in the short course event.  Due to limited daylight, walking the long course is not allowed...sorry.

You will encounter - dirt, rocks, tree roots, sand, sweat, great views, serenity, nature's beauty, smiles, runners having a great time...!!

Trail Running 101 (everything you need to know)

DIRECTIONS
Beal's Point on Folsom lake is located off of Folsom-Auburn Road approximately 2 miles south of Douglas Blvd.  From I-80, take Douglas Blvd East, and turn right onto Folsom-Auburn Road.  Turn left into Beal's Point.  From I-50, take Folsom Blvd (towards Folsom).  Folsom Blvd turns into Folsom-Auburn Road - drive past Folsom Dam Road and turn right into Beal's Point.  There is a $7 park entrance fee per vehicle charge or you may purchase an annual park pass for $90.
